Conservation experts

Cécile Charpentier: Founder, French-American Conservation and Restoration Expert, based in Paris (France). She is a graduate of the École du Louvre, Paris (Museology). Master in Cultural Conservation Restoration, University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne. Cécile heads many major restoration sites world-wide with more than 20 years’ experience.

Giovanna Carravieri: Co-founder, conservation and Restoration Expert, specialized in Italian frescoes, based in San Francisco (USA). She is a graduate of the School of Cremone, Italy. Giovanna studied Art History at the University of La Sapienza in Rome and at the University of Paris IV-Sorbonne. She worked as a Conservator for numerous frescoes in Rome, Florence and Vatican City.

Harpreet Tanday: Co-founder, Indian-Italian Conservator, based in Switzerland, graduated from SUPSI (Scuola Universitaria della Svizzera Italiana), based in Melbourne (Australia). Master specialization in wall paintings, stone, stucco and architectural surfaces. Bachelor from Italy (Conservation department in "G.B. Cignaroli, Verona). She has participated in different restoration sites and workshops in Italy, Switzerland and India.

Sabine Cotte: Co-founder, French-Australian private conservator, based in Melbourne (Australia), graduated from Institut National du Patrimoine (Paris), ICCROM (Rome) and University of Melbourne on the materials and techniques of Mirka Mora. She has participated in several workshops in the Himalayan region for UNESCO, ICCROM and private NGOs, focusing on training local people in conservation and in disaster recovery.

Anthony Pontabry: Franco-Italian Expert in material conservation techniques, Conservation and Restoration Specialist of fresco paintings. Graduate of the Istituto Centrale per il Restauro of Rome. He will teach the students the restoration techniques.

Jean Pouvelle: Chairman of the association, Professor of English, Jean is a French specialist of the Shekhawati region. He translated the book « The Painted Towns of Shekhawati », a reference in Shekhawati Art and Architecture (Ilay Cooper, Prakash Book, 2010, new edition 2017).
